Yesterday i decided that i would play these tournaments for mye
remaining bankroll on FullTilt to see how far i can go. It's about 430 $ so i can play 16 if i don't make it to the money again.
So far i've played 2 and finished 21 in the first one (357 entrants) and finished about 140th of 330 in the second because i lost an preflop all-in, my kings versus jacks. I had more chips but didn't get any good cards so i was knocked out a couple of hands later trying to steal the BB with T9, he had AK
Anyways, the first tourney i did extremely well, i think, and was in the top 5 almost the entire tourney, but dropped a bit after my Jacks hit two queens.
i think i had T18000 with the blinds 600/1200, ante 150.
UTG raised 4x as he had been doing quite a bit, he was the chipleader at the table with T56000, i had 66 so i pushed, hoping for a fold, but still figuring at best two overcards or just a plain UTG-steal.
What do you think about this move? Is it right to go for a coinflip in that situation, with 21 people left and about average stack? If i had won i would have been second in chips and in a much better situation.
He had AK and hit his Ace on the river, so that was the end in that tournament. Got double my buy-in back though.
I'll probably post some more when i make it in the money again, i won't stop till i'm broke or won the whole thing

MTT's can challenge one's sanity
Played a $1 yesterday on FT (I'm in a real need on BR boost) - first hour almost over, from the 760 that started there are a little more then 200 left. I'm sitting with 2 X average stack. On the button with JTo , one limper before me from EP with. I raised hoping to steal the blinds. EP calls .
Flop comes TTQ - with 2 hearts. He bets, I figure he has a Q and I push. He calls with QAo. Turn is a K , river is another Q....
to win an MTT you need to win a coin flip a couple of times, the trick is to try and play them when you are a head , but that doesn't always work!
Congrats on the win on PS!

16 buy-ins is way too small if you want your bank to last. You should have 50 or more for MTT in my opinion.
