Had to share this one for self-therapy.
Was one out of the money in 20 dollar SNG and was dealt pocket 99s.
Made pot size raise on the button and was called by BB.
Flop came.....99A. Giving me quads which I checked. BB raised and I called. River was a blank. I checked. BB went all-in, and of course I couldn't call fast enough. He turned up pocket AAs, giving him aces full of 9s against my quad 99s.
Of course the river gave him his 4th ace and I was left out of the money.
I am sure in time the pain will subside but for now am still stinging. lol

Re-read my posting...meant to say turn was a blank.....the river was the fourth ace which of course knocked me out of the tourney.
Guess I am too shook still to type straight. lol

That's pretty horrible.
Luckily one outers do not happen too often .

Now that I have calmed down a bit I realize that techincally it wasn't a bad beat since he did have pocket AAs against my pocket 99s.....but still didn't feel exactly great flopping quads and getting eliminated. lol
