This was a while back, and i was playing poker with my friends. Everyone bought in with 10. After being stupid and trying to bluff certain call stations. Getting A K beat by K 2 with a preflop raise of like 4xBB, but whatever.
So, i was down to my last 75 cents. I say "God, just give me a hand". What do you know, i see one ace, then i see another. But i just felt, with all this stuff going on, i wasnt going to win. About 2-3 other people were in the hand too.
Flop ? A ?
I flopped a set, but i knew it was over, so i just walked away. What do you know.. a guy catches his straight on the river. I just got pissed humorously and flipped my aces over. It sucked...

To the OP, was that a freeroll lol? If not, that was some interesting play by your opponents lol.
I've had AA cracked many times (oddly, much more than KK) but my worst is as follows.
Middle of an MTT, I'm around or just above average stack and I raise 4-5xBB UTG, big stack in MP re-raises about 3x my raise, one behind him calls and I push. Big stack calls quick, other guy folds out. Board comes 7A977 and he flips over A7o. Couldn't believe it (what're the chances all 7s and As were used between our two hands too, strange hand overall)

Haha yeah it was a freeroll. Seeing as I'm only 15, I can't play real money games :/. Although I do predict by the time I turn 18 I will be a pretty decent player considering I'd have been into poker for about 3 years.

Heh, I had a nice one.
I had AA in late pos, and EP had raised (juicy), I bump it, he calls, flop is all rags, EP donks it to let me know he has JJ/QQ so I shove,he calls, river is Q and that's all she wrote.
And then he uses the next 5 minutes to tell me how sorry he was.
Like I will ever mind people calling shoves with 2 outs.

i havn't got a problem with pocket pairs being beaten because of the obvious smaller number of outs. what i hate is when someone calls a raise with 7,2 off suit. i mean come on what is with that. then invariably they hit two pair on the flop. i hate that with a passion!
if i get that hand i fold as you should but when a less experienced player calls or raises because they dont realise how poor their hand is then it really makes me mad

It is sick when 72o calls a raise and crack the A's but against A's 72o has almost as much chance has KTo... You want people with crappy cards to call when you have A's, you just don't want them cracked

Not agreeing with you army.. people like that are called FISH, aren't they??
And if they would always lose those hands, they maybe would stop being (a) fish.
