Yesterday I caught a straight on the river (I had been playing tight all day, and decided to go for something) and a guy bets 2$, I raise him 2$, he calls, and he caught the flush on the river. Then half an hour later, the same guy goes all in, I call, he has kings(spades, hearts) I have jacks, (clubs spades) I'm dead, flop comes 2c 2h 5c, turn comes another club, i need one more for the flush. I deal the river, ITS A CLUB! I CAUGHT THE FLUSH ON THE RIVER. But it's the king of clubs. My flush loses to his full house.

You know what they say, "The worst hand in poker is the second best hand". Sounds like my home game last night. Whether it was my trips beaten by higher trips or my straight flush being beaten by a higher straight flush , I took some of the worst beats I've had in a while. Most of them I forgot about the very next hand but sometimes it takes a little longer to shake some beats.
