Ok its near the end of the 1st hour of an mtt, i have lost a few chips and im sitting with 1000 and the blinds are on 50 /100 I have AJ on the button and there is 2 limpers in MP, thy have been limping with all kinds of crap so im really not THAT worried about them. I decide to push all in, any raise i make will leave me with a shitty stack should i have to fold, and i have a crap stack and want to take this pot now, or double up. I push BB calls with KK the two limpers fold.
what do you think?
i manage to flop 3 clubs to my ace but dont catch the A or a club early mtt exit...

Well, if you really wanted those blinds then your play is fine assuming you're pretty sure the limpers will either fold or call with a weaker hand. It was bad luck one of the blinds woke up with a huge hand. At this point were you a big short-stack in comparison to the other stacks and average stack? I'd assume you were in which case even though you may have only wanted the blinds you probably also would've liked to win with a call - is AJ a hand you'd like to make this move with? Only hands calling you are often those that have you beat and since you can only be unsure of the hands in the blinds you're usually safe making this move with a decent hand.
Essentially, you were unlucky to run into KK.

i think you did the right thing...i mean w/ 350 already in the pot, if you wanted to steal the blinds yer gonna hafta raise at least 500 or so, making you totally committed to the pot, and if you end up folding yer gonna hafta push w/ any old garbage soon anyhow...you did the right play, just got hosed...it happens to the best of us

easy push given your reads. You said it was an early exit, in that case you simply have to accumulate chips in order to have a chance of getting far.
