The Tropicana in AC is opening a new poker room, from what I was told by a dealer, by the end of this year, on the opposite end of the gaming floor. It will have 60 tables.
The Trop is my favorite place to play, and was suprisingly busy for a Wednesday, got there at 2 left at 10, multiple 2/5NL and two 5/10NL tables, 1-5 and 5/10 stud, their pink chip game, and even 3/6 Omaha H/L, which I finally got to play in. The game actually took like 5 hours to break too, which is pretty long for that game at the Trop (or in AC for that matter). I was also suprised at the tourny running, 80+20 no add ons or rebuys, 10k in chips.
I was very suprised at the variety of games for a Wednesday.

80+20 is a lot of juice, but i'd be willing to pay for lenient levels....blinds are 25/50 25 minutes i would guess?....tournies really dont make them money compared to other games, but i just hate playing these tournies w/ 25/50 blinds, 20 min levels, 1k to start er some garbage like that....just a push fest

i'm spoiled by higher buyin games....and online tournies i suppose
60 tables is pretty fat tho...thats cool...if i lived anywhere near one of those places i eat it up w/ a spoon...unfortunately, i think pittsburgh is farther from any casino than any other city on the continent
