Push. I would be putting villian on a PP or AK.

Agreed. With the preflop raise you have to assume (or hope) no one came in with trash with 96. I'd bet that one of them is holding something like AK or AQ, possibly suited spades (even AJ spades). Second guy is likely either on an OESD (dumb, but a lot of idiots overbet this) with something like A6 or has an overpair in the pocket.

So again, push. You're likely way ahead and just hope you don't get sucked out on.

I go all-in here. The only legit. hand that beats u is 88, so I make sure that I get it all-in here, mostly due to the fact that there are two draws out there. Villain could be messing around with 66 or A6s or something like that. But more likely, he has an overpair to the board or a draw, so I want to make him pay the max to get there. If he folds, that is OK too.

The problem I see with just smooth calling is that there a re a lot of ugly turn cards for you that (1) can beat you, (2) might not beat you, but make your hand much more difficult to play profitably, or (3) scare HIM and he folds when you could have gotten him to potnetially commit on the flop.

Get it in there now and hope he doesn't hold 88 or outdraw.

Doubtful that someone flopped the straight. My guess is that one of them is holding 56 or 67. You are ahead here the majority of the time with outs if someone flopped a straight. Push.

Happens, if I flop a set I'll usually have little trouble getting my money in.
