Yesterday i went to play in a home game, NL cash, as usual i started out pretty good, increased my stack by 1/3d or so. until i had caught QQ. i made a big raise and lost to one of the worst plays ive ever seen from this player, and that says something. i made a raise of about 8X BB in the BB. he called me out of position in the SB as the only caller. his stack was like 3 times as big as mine. the flop came 5-3-3. he checks, i bet the pot. he puts me all-in after thinking for a while and asking if i have a big pocket pair.
i call. he shows K-5. im like, "whoa John, you never cease to amaze me." river was a 5. so now i was down to minus 1 buy-in instead of the X3 buy-in i wouldve had if i hadnt been outdrawn. it didnt pick up anymore after that
then when i got home I dropped my bankroll down from $690 to $520 after a horrible cash game session
i saw a NL $0.25/0.50 table, wit some relative big stacks where someone went all-in just about every hand. and they would get called about 80% of the time... it was sickening. i saw a pre-flop all-in between 2 players for $75 bucks. one held A-J offsuit, the other Q-10 of hearst.. ridiculous!
so my plan was to sit down with a big stack, wait for the nuts and get paid off. first i get my KK all-in pre-flop against someone with A-6 (i had him covered), he hits an A. then i catch three Aces on an A-A-3 flop with A-T after i raised it preflop, and get crushed by A-J. probably should have saved some oney on this pot
then my QQ ran into KK preflop and my shit was gone.. very shitty
however i just started playing at the $.10/.20, dropping down, and i had i think the first real "rush" if you will i ever experienced. i was three tabling.
hit alot of flops, got some flushes, got some straights, took some big pots down uncontested. its like it was so much easier then last night.
one particular hand was very beautiful. i had T-7 of clubs on the button and i think i called a raise from someone in middle position. a few more people had come along... the flop was A-8-6. he had checked, i lead, got a few callers and villain raised quite a bit. at first making me think "nahh, too much, but then i started looking and saw i had about 3:1 as the pot had grown quite a bit by all the people being in it. and i was cert if it would hit i would take his stack. i actually had a gut feeling it was gonna drop as well... i HAD been running smooth and was feeling the vibe so to speak... so i called and it DID peel off. oh my goodness. i proceeded to call him down until he had nothing left to bet with and showed him the nuts on the river
its like the way it was going online yesterday its going in the exact opposite direcetion now...
a little bit of justice perhaps 
sure feels a bit better
anyway,.,. just had to vent a little

i did get suckered in a ,little with crap, but was gradually getting some odds. and that guy shouldnt hage slowplayed his top pair good kicker against me
