I'm running through my last $.. and decided to attempt to build a BR from that before depositing again. (I also am in the process of ordering some books)
So I try to follow Jesus's advice when he took a $1 up to $10k - sit with the min , play tight and leave when double up.
So far, I dbl twice but lost too many buyins to be happy with -though I'm too blame. Play far too many hands and gamble too much. Also, trying to bluff in these levels when my opp actually have some kind of hand.
In any case I have a question about this hand :
Was dealt JJ in MP - raise 4XBB one LP caller.
flops comes A23 . Don't forget this is the lowest limits 10NL...
I bet 1/3 pot and he reraise...
Was I right to assume he have an A? Should I have gambled= Don't forget, I do not have the BR to gamble
Thanks
Danny

I would say that is a fair assumption. Especially at the lower levels, you wont find people that are too clever to re-raise with total crap. With the 4x bb raise and call, I would say that is a good assumption.

Another thing to be careful of is playing when you don't have the bankroll to play at that level... There are times I've played 'above my station' so to speak and I always end up doing badly because I can't relax enough to play my game. You need to go into the game with the mindset that losing all the money you have brought with you (ie. going all in on A's and having them cracked) wouldn't be the end of the world... this'll help you relax a bit and not be worrying about losing the chips but just concentrating on playing your game..
(just my tuppence worth) :D
