Okay, haven't posted in a bit but this sure warrants a post. Was playing a small little game tonight at a buddy's house, just 6 of us there, down to 3 when this hand came - top 2 pay out.
Was an SnG basically, I fold. We all have around the same chips at this point but BB has slightly more than SB - they both see the flop.
Flop comes 5c 6c 7c
SB, who knows BB is a loosish type player, bets about 1/3 of the pot trying to build it up. BB raises about 3x the raise and SB pushes all-in. BB calls.
SB shows 3c 4c
BB shows Tc Ac
So, SB has flopped a straight flush of 3-7 while BB has the Ace-high flush.
Turn is a 9c
River is a 8c
BB beats SB with a HIGHER STRAIGHT FLUSH of 6-10.
I couldn't believe it when it happened, the look on the SB's face was pretty bad lol. Chances of that must be insanely low, but we were all in awe for quite a while after. Interestingly, I lost the heads-up when my FH lost to his bigger FH - lucky night I guess, but still a ridiculous hand.

catching a runner runner straight a low chance. A runner runner flush probably slightly better. But runner runner straight flush. You stop the game and inspect the cards

actually now that i think about it i caught a runner runner straight flush against a guys ace 10 suited. To make it worse the hand I caught it with was a 7 2 suited
I got my flush draw on the flop, hit the flush on the turn and then on the river got the 4 of clubs giving me 4 5 6 7 8 and he shows A10
normally i dont play garbage hands like that but it was a cheap buyin and every once in a while i like to try and steal pots with 72 and show it just for kicks. Surprisingly it turned into a monster
