Technically conventional wisdom states you dont even have the bankroll to play .10/.25. Its generally accepted one needs about 20 max buyins at a given limit to sustain bankroll swings.

yeah, 20 or 30 times the max buy in is the most common advice.

Here's how you can stop:

Repeat the following sentance, and say it outloud 15 times.

"I will go broke if I play beyond my bankroll."

Here are some general bankroll guidelines:

To play:

FL cash games - have 300 BB (big bets) at your current stakes
NL cash games - have 15-35 MAX buyins for your limits

Sngs- have 25-35 buyins (include rake!) for your preferred buyin
MTTs- 20+ buyins

Good Luck.

orrrrrrrrrrrrr you could just take down a big MTT and not have to worry about whether you can move up or not:)

Yeah that would be a cool experiment.

Shove 400$ into a seperate account and ONLY play 10$ MTTs. I suppose that eventually you should win one...
