With calling a big re-raise like that I had him on overs and he thought I was much stronger than him with my re-riase (which I prob was) He either had a weaker ace or low PP and couldnt make the call when he couldnt hit his set.
Does everyone else feel like that is logical thinking?
Next one isnt too special...dont really know why I am posting this, prob cuz its the same guy I bluffed before.

Hand one, there's a reasonable chance you had the best hand. The second one is pretty standard. Just be prepared to fold if he breathes on the pot.
Don't show your bluffs without a good reason. The "look how good I am" displays after your opponent folds will come back to bite you in the ass when you bet all the way down with an unimproved AK and lose to 4th pair. You're going to miss flops far more often than hit, so don't give people more reasons to call when you whiff and take a stab at it.

I think that showing can really help you if you hit some good cards especially immediately after you show your semi-bluff. After that people will get more agressive when I have hit a monster and I can just sit back and call. The only reason I did it is because I knew I was going to play maybe 10 more hands and if I were to get a big PP (in which case I got 10's a few hands later), I had 2 people call a big raise pre flop. I bet out $7 after the flop with J32 on the board, he called. Another 2 comes out, I bet again, he folds...and take down the pot. There I had him dominated, he pinned me as a loose player because I showed the bluff, and he was prob just calling with overs. In this situation, I think it helped me.

Suit yourself but I'm keeping the link to this thread handy, and if I ever see you author a Bad Beat post titled "HOW COULD HE CALL DOWN WITH THIS!?!?!" I'm going to direct you back here.
Showing your hands buys you very little, and gives your opponent a lot of information. Like I said, your crap hands will far outnumber your monsters, and it's better to conceal just how many times you're betting with nothing.

Ok, you convinced me...I'm sold
Actually I cant remember the last time I have shown other than these 2 times...I dont show 99.9% of the time and I do agree with you.
