I made a continuation bet on the flop, as he could easily have been limping/calling per-flop with a wide range of hands that missed the King (99, AJ, etc) that I could get to fold. When he called, I put him on KT, KQ, or two hearts. I bet on the turn again when I caught a hand, and his call told me that he either was determined to chase his flush, or he wasn't sure whether or not his pair of Ks was still good.
How should I interpret his all-in move on the river? A last-ditch bluff after a missed flush draw?

I think you are beat here and I would hold onto my chips and keep playing, there is still plenty of time, especially with the low blinds. Think of some hands that could beat u and could be worth a call from the person: AK, AJ have you beat. Even is someone wanted to see if they could hit a flop with QJs or J10s or something like that you are done as well.
The only other option I could think of is someone having like A7s, Knowing you both have A's and banking you split the pot with AAJJK...would be a risky move but i have seen a lot of agressive play by people early in tourneys. If you feel like you are a solid player and still have 1k in chips with low blinds, its not worth the call IMO unless you have some info on the person (but I am assuming you dont since its early in the tourney).

I think this is a fold for sure, although if he had a huge hand a smaller bet could be in order. Nonetheless you dont know what your opponent is holding here, and its likely you were beat even on the turn.

This may be a little weak-tight of an idea here ... I wouldn't use it a lot but its a thought.
Don't raise preflop here, you have a nice premium hand, but, you have two limpers and as we see here, one of them is likely to call your preflop raise so all you have done is built a bigger pot preflop.
I think you'll find this hand plays a lot easier if you check because you won't find yourself c-betting the flop when you miss (2 out of 3 times). This situation got real ugly on the turn, I don't see much that you are ahead of besides a busted flush draw or a lower pair.
Big pots for big hands

Your check behind the river here screams that you're afraid of a jack, and his push is likey a bluff of holding one. If he in fact did hold a jack, he would have thrown out a wager looking for a call... unless he's a n00b. Also, would he have called the 150 after the flop with that king on the board? Called 300 when that Ace dropped?
Early in a tourney, these kinds of decisions arent neccessary. Fold it and look for the next big pot. If he was bluffing, there's a good chance he'll pull it again and you might get to make him pay for it.
Then again, it's a 5 buck tourney so there's are a ton of fish in play.... you might take this with a call, but it's not worth it yet imho. With a fold you're left with >30bb.... plenty of room to move with.
Raising preflop with AQ, I do this too simply to get a little in that pot: if an ace drops on the flop and the callers dont hold one... that starting pot may be all you'll get.

i think you are beat. you probably dont have to be worried about the straight draw because he hasn't represented that but trip jacks is a real possibility, especialy as pre-river he may only have JJ with two over cards on the deck! i mean it is not out of the realms of possibility that he called with J10 hoping for a draw!
FOLD that hand
