only site ive played with real money on was party and feel like changing it up.....can you guys give me insight on other sites

i like party, has great interface and game availabilty but feel like going to a site with smaller tourneys. i know you could go into the smaller mtt sngs at party but blinds and starting chip stack is that of the stt sngs. poker stars had a 180 man sng that looked cool but the interface on pokerstars drives me nuts. it's the way the game looks, makes me mad for some reason. thats why i never put money into it

ive played on a good number of sites and will give you feedback on them as i see fit. now keep in mind i dont know what you are looking to play (cash games, tournaments)

Pokerstars - probably by far the best site. They always have tons of people on. Which means you will never have a problem finding a game. they have as low was 2$ NL or .01/.02 FL and have pretty much any high stakes possible. Its just all in what you want to play, you can't go wrong here as far as stakes if your looking for cash games. As far as tournaments go, their 20% structure allows for more people to make ITM. granted ITM isnt great. but you have to make ITM to reach the top 9Smile. this is where im currently playing, and im loving it. like i said there is always a game there.

Full Tilt - like pokerstars, they have a lot of users. so there is no problem finding a game. but their lowest cash game limits are not as low. their lowest NL games is 10NL. and lowest FL game is .25/.50 i believe. they dont have as many tournaments. but they do have a lot of garuntee tournaments which you can satelite into for as low as 4$. this is a good site with a good feel and a good structure. structure isnt as good as the structure on Pokerstars IMO but its a good site nonetheless.

absolute poker - I cant really say enough about this site. they have as low as 10$NL and .02/.04 FL. I enjoyed this site for a long time. I had pretty good success here. they have a lot of tournaments but the fields are generally much smaller than the other sites. I made a good amount of money in the tournaments here. but late at night its hard to find any good games.

Doyles room - if your looking for low limit cash games, this is the place to go.

hope some of this helped

Nice summary.

I play at Stars and Party. 9T pretty much summed up Stars (my favourite site as well), but i'll tell you a bit about PP.

PartyPoker's FL starts at .25/.50, and NL starts at 25NL. They have a decent amount of tournaments, freerolls and satelites. They also offer PartyCasino and blackjack (which I need to learn to stay the hell away from). I don't know what it's like on other sites than Stars and Party, but on Party, transfering money to people and cashing out is difficult as there are certain requirements you need to obtain in your bankroll such as a certain amount of money.

Generally speaking, Party's competition is *easy* and Stars is *medium-hard*.

Either way at the lower limits, you won't need to worry about that.

Leafs, you need to start playing PL omaha at stars, your definition of the competition would change, from medium-hard, to easy lol. yes, blackjack has killed many a bankroll

I actually played some last night - 10PL 08. Made a few bucks.

Was also playing some HORSE sngs. The funnies thing in the world is when you're playing Razz and your opponent is showing a full boat and capping with you xD.

Broken internet connections are the worst.

Especially when you want to play online poker.

I am not affiliated with Doyles but I will say I have played there since signing up to play online. They offer more then low cash games. They also offer low buy-in SNGs, low buy-in MTTs and as nineten mentioned, they offer low buy-in ring (cash) games. The main thing I like about Doyles...that site is loaded with fish. It's almost like playing at a fish farm at times... Smile.

Here are my opinions.

Party - Big tournaments, bad support, very fishy and always crowded cash games. Not the best tournament rake out there, but the tournaments on Party always wind up being huge, at any level. If you play STT's, this is the site to play at, period.

Pokerstars - THE place to be for tournaments, lower - mid level cash games are full of nits. Has THE best variety, structure, and feel of any tournament and SNG. THE best for satellites. No real bonus offers, but FPP, which can be hard to accumulate, go a very long way.

Doyles Room - My favorite "small" room. Has, without question, the absolute easiest "sign-up" bonus that I have ever seen. You accumulate action points (think party points if you are used to Party) at a ridiculously easy rate. The points, are also very, very useful. Their is always a MTT to enter, and at the rate of accumulation, even a micro limit player will be able to always play in a freeroll. My only real problem with Doyle's Room is how the setup is for their Multi Table SnG's. Only a few start each day, and they begin at a set time, instead of when they fill up. Meaning, essentially that if that 4 table SNG is full, you will have to wait 30 mins, an hour, 2 hours, or however long until it's scheduled start. THEY HAVE TO FIX THIS! Best, and easiest site for lower NL cash games. Tremendously fishy.

UltimateBet - Not my favorite place in the world. Fairly large, I don't like the interface that much, also not a tremendous traffic for SnG's. No real tourney experience there to comment on.

Full Tilt - Decent site. Now offer ridiculously high limit games. Tournament buy-ins always seemed a little high in correlation with the prize pool for guaranteed events. (Something like a $25k gtd would have a buy in of $100, where in contrast on Pokerstars it would be $20 or so). Not a fan of their bonus. More of a place to rail the pros than to play, IMO.

Bodog - My newest site. Absolutely freaking hated it for the first few weeks I used it. They have a bottomless 10% instant bonus on EVERY deposit however, which...in reality, simply cannot be beat. No Multi Table SnG's -- which I hate. Tournaments don't get too large. Usually an average of 250-500 depending on specific tournament and time. Cash games are fun, very loose and wild. Usually just play MTT's there. Not a tremendous fan of the interface, but I have gotten used to it. Really only play here if you are attracted to the neverending 10% bonus and wan't some fun MTT's. A few, semi-very good MTT players here as well. Also worth noting that unlike other sites, their SnG's advance levels per hand, instead of by time. Meaning, blinds go up every 10 hands, instead of every 8,10, or 15 minutes like other sites.

Interpoker - FREAKIN HORRIBLE!

Signed up to do some bonus whoring... they won't give me my bonus. I send a nice e-mail to support about it this and they send me some generic bullshit e-mail saying absolutely nothing usefull. Oh, and by the way, it took a week for them to reply. I've sent a not so nice e-mail back to them without recieving a response back so far.

Nah, DN is a donk.

J/k.

I don't personally play there, but my dad does, and he's friends with the guy who runs it (forgot the title of that position).

It seems like a good place to play.

Hah. Well personally I think my dad is sometimes a Hold'em donk but he's played 100x more than me and has better instincts than I do, so I don't argue too much.

He's a pretty accomplished 08/b player on PokerStars though so he teaches me that.

There, now you know all about my dad, thanks for asking lol.
