Damn Phishers! Sad to know that a few people might actually fall for this scam.

I could have fallen for that! So simple yet so dangerous.

Thanks for the heads up Geno

Webby if you could fall for that then you might want to do some homework buddy... Smile. Read the fine print that says Party (and all reputable sites) will never ask for your account information by e-mail...ever.

Also avoid e-mails from your bank or even banks you do not bank with, ebay and others that seem too good to be true.

If you really have trouble...check out my gulability quiz in non-poker talk... :D

Geno glad to see you didn't fall for that scam...it puts a whole new faith for me in my UK brothern... Wink Laughing

Yeah, obv. I wouldn't really fall for it if i was concentrating on what i was doing... But if i was distracted and not really paying attention...

It's easily done. I bet more than a few people fall for this.

I've been getting constant e-mails from "Pay-Pal" requesting me to click a link and update my account info.

What makes this really odd is that I don't have a Pay-Pal account...

Laughing...Skribb...I been getting about 5 a day from banks wanting the same thing.

Webby, yes I know you were not serious but damn...can't a guy even try to get you with a zinger once in awhile?...can't blame me for trying... Smile

Geno, that was me that sent that to you. I figured that if you give money to complete strangers on some IRC chat page you would surely be gullible enough to give me your Party info too.

Oh well, back to the drawing board......

Laughing Shocked Wink

If that's their actual spelling and grammar then that is appalling!

read, "looking at porn"

Geno, anything interesting in the mail headers?

I actually got an email from Pary Poker warning me about that email.

They suggested I be careful and ignore anything like that...but if I was concerned they could switch my account around for me. I decided that was the best thing to do and so I sent them my account name and password so they could take care of it.

Glad I wasn't dumb enough to fall for any of that. But nice try Dave.
