This one sounds like it would just ban the use of credit cards to fund your online gambling account. That isn't really much of an obstacle, and honestly using your credit card to pay for gambling is not a bright idea.

I love how politicians jam unrelated crap onto other bills that they dont even read or understand...i bet regular ppl would do a better job of legislation if we went to the polls like once a month on sundays...and vote on only one thing...too much crap going on in dc

On Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 he discovers that nearly all bills passed arn't actually read by the committy, or whatever they're called.

Screw all the politicians and their evil damn ways. Time for Americans to step up and take back our government and our country.
You know what you get when you have 5,000 politicians at the bottom of the ocean?
1) A great start.
2) A sucken turd jam.
3) a bunch of dead politicians.
4) all the above
4 is the best but the real answer is 1...

Mid-term election elections are rapidly approaching......lots of people huff and puff but still end up voting in the same gang of incompetent morons who have had control of the congress for over a decade now. Granted, the alternative isn't so great either but the current incarnation of the Republican party needs to be reminded that they are there to serve the public good, not their special interest/ corporate buddies. A little time on the bench will do them some good.

I'm not clear exactly who's pushing this bill, but it's like the legislation that made discrimination against wheelchair-bound people a crime. At first it seemed like a reasonable idea, but when push came to shove little mom/pop restaurants got fined for not installing elevators to their second-floor pizza joint and went out of business. It's gotten crazy how they use it--municipalities have dumped billions of dollars into infrastructure retro-fits for dubius ends.
No one wants to vote against handicapped people...you'd be railroaded out of town...but try to have an intelligent cost/benifit conversation and you're a troglodyte.
