Vegas trip
Posted Sat Sep 16, 2006 3:29 am GMT by Sharpy Just got back from my vegas trip.. Stayed at the Wynn and have to say .. very nice hotel and card room. Played the 2-5NL game for about 16-20 hours over the 4 days i was there. Each day hitting a monster to double up my 500$ buy-in. Very big game..with no max buy-in there were people sitting there with honestly like 8-10 grand. Good thing about it is, when you get a hand, it seems to always pay off. First day second hand i get 8 9 (my favoutie hand) on the button. Middle postion raises to 40 with 4 callers... I decide to call and flop comes 9 9 3 Raiser bets 90..everyone folds (sept me)lol. I double the bet to 180. As he is sitting there with his 4-5 grand. he asks what i have and puts me all in for my last 300. He turns over Kowboys.
Good start to the week.
Final day i decide to play at Ceasars Palce.. probibly my favourite card room... and there were no 5000$ stacks to worry about either.
I get 66 in BB with 3 ppl in the hand. Flop comes q 9 6 go over top for 300 more..'lady' calls with top 2 Q9.. 6's hold up and im off to a good finish.
Ended up about 1600-1800$ up over the 4 days..spent a good chunk at the peeler bar. The rest paid for my vacation.
