I am just wondering what happens with this after reading the new interview with krazy kanuck on this site...

It just made me wonder what type of compensation they receieve from being affiliated with a poker site. My guess is for someone major like Ivey he prob gets WSOP and WPT (if he playes WPT?) buyins paid for him because he gets so much TV time while wearing Full Tilts gear, but that is just a guess.

Full tilt: Some of the pro's there are (or were) shareholders in the site, I believe Jesus owns the software copyright or something like that. The 'lesser' pros 'friends of fulltilt' get paid an hourly rate to play, not much, like $30 p/h or something, plus they may also get sponsored into certain events.

I dunno about UB, again, prob. sponsorship to wear UB clobber at major tourneys.

On Stars, all of the 'team pokerstars' players got freerolled into most of the WCOOP tourneys and prolly same for offline tourneys.

Lastly; Jamie Gold got his wsop seat free from Bodog on the proviso that he (as a tv agent) would provide some celebs to wear Bodog gear during the event.

I thought howard lederer (sp?) was the majority owner? I just guessed that because hes front and center in all of the commercials. As a side not, I really dislike the man after seeing him on the PPT and also on his TV shows. He looks incredibly arrogant.

Thanks for the link. I too have often wondered what the arrangement between Full Tilt & the pros is.

I believe I did read somewhere that he is the 'Head' of that site.

From what I've heard, Ivey has a pretty big share in the company as well. I think all of the big Fulltilt names get their tournament fees paid for.
