I was thinking about poker like I always do and i came upon an interesting question. Generally speaking, what sorts of hands are most profitable in the long run? Made hands like JJ, QQ, etc; Or drawing hands like AK, AQ, suited connectors, etc. My personal opinion, the drawing hands are most profitable. If they miss any sort of draw on the flop its an easy fold, but with the made hands its always hard to fold if its such a harmless looking board. Thus, i would argue that made hands are only slightly EV+ whereas drawing hands are hugely EV+ in the long run. Any thoughts on this topic?

The "big made hands" and it's not even close.
AA flops the nuts a lot. And doesn't need to, either.

Exactly. You will often win big pots with drawing hands in the long run, but don't forget all the money you paid to make that hand, in the long run. In terms of raw EV, AA, KK, QQ, AK, etc etc are always more profitable than hands like T8s (which can still be profitable, but in far fewer scenarios than AA), either in the short or long run.

There is a chart that is compiled from several million hands from Poker Room. On that chart it is obvious that for most players AA, KK and QQ are way more profitable than AKs.
should be easy to google if you want to have a look for yourselves.

Big pairs are expected to win more often, but do these charts take into account the amount that is bet?
I think what the OP was saying is that you often land a big unexpected pot with a drawing hand when it is well disguised, but extracting maximum value from large pairs is very difficult (since they're hard to hide).

Few of my biggest pots where on the blinds, where I got a free flop with rags like 96o and the flop came 996...
Few of my bigger loosing hands are hands when I'm on the blinds, and get to see the flop for free with a hand like 96o and the flop come 93T...
