Help me out, one way or another |

This is a totally hypathetical question, but then again it isn't.
The reason is this............I'm drunk and I'm playing a loose agressive player!
I'm playing in a £5, 5 seater home torny. Winner takes all. I get down to the last two players. i think i have a chip lead of 4/1 and he says " Do you want to split the money £20/£5" I say no, I'll split the money £22/£3. This is padantic, but I realise he is the underdog and i want him to chase me. He says no.
I then get dealt T 6 . I'm the small blind (with 8 and call another 8 for the BB). He goes all-in. I fold (the dealer deals the community cards and it turns out the other guy would have won with a flush. But that's neither here-nor-there.)
The next hand (where I'm the BB) I get dealt 5 2 He raises all-in. I fold.
The next hand I get 6 3 I think he's going all-in and therefore fold pre-flop.
The next hand I get dealt A J and go all-in. He calls with a 6 9 and wins with two pairs. I finish second with nothing.
Now;
Everyone says I should of gone all-in with him sooner because it's heads-up. I said I would of if I had a hand higher than a J. They said my chip lead was 8/1 and therefore i should of gone all-in with anything. I disagreed and said my chip lead was around 4/1, 5/1 at the most. They said no way, it was more. Either way I'm drunk and know I'm commanding chip leader.
My question is this. Even if i was 8/1 chip leader should I of played my hands differently?
I figure the answer is no. Purely because i got dealt junk four times in a row. (and was playing a REALLY aggresive player)
Was I week or should i of played some or all of the hands??????????

If you really did have an 8/1 chip lead I'd have called with 10 6
I'd need to know what the chips stacks were in realation to the blinds in order to tell you how likely I was to call with the rest of the hands though. Given he caught up even in chips by you folding a few times only, I don't know how you got away from 10 6 with that big a lead.

Morning! I didn't even realise I wrote this! The last thing i remember is opening a bottle of my home-made wine. (This was after finishing my home made sloe gin!)
Anyway, I can't help you with any information as I can't remember playing the hand.
However, I totally agree with you Jauron. If this information is correct, I couldn't of been 8/1 chip leader. This is because, according to my information, I lost 4 hands in a row, three of which involved only loosing the blinds.
Can anyone help me with these calcutations??????

Either the blinds were huge (relative to your stacks), or you were only a marginal chip leader. Either way, I think you played ok.
