A player may not intentionally expose his hand to the table if there is still action left. Doing so will make his hand dead. The only exception (and this depends on the house rules) is if it is heads up and the other player is all in.

I like those rules...but that is not the only exception. I've seen it allowed heads up when the other player is not all in and neither is the guy who flips his hand over. High stakes poker, that heads up tourney are just two examples I can think of quickly.

Personally I prefer rules that don't allow it at all.

perfect rules... no showing cards unless one player is all in and ur the only player to act. if there are players behind you, it kinda effects their decisions.
