My bankroll officially went over $1,000 last night. I told myself I was going to grind my way through proper BR management to $1,000 by the end of the year.
I play mostly $.10/$.20 $10NL online, $1 spread and $.25/$.50 at a friend's house, $2/4 at the casino and $5-$25 tournies live. I started with $25 around May and got lucky to win $450 in a tourney, but there have been the usual swings. This is the largest my bankroll has ever been without having to spend it on real life stuff.

my goal is a $1,000 online too. i didnt set a deadline though. been hovering around 600 the past few weeks, now up to 740
803 is the highest ive been at so far

my goal was 1k, then i hit it in a 2 day span. so i moved it to 2k, i hit that a week later. Damn touranments

I have a couple of books on the way and am actually shying away from cash games at the moment.
I play few low S&G and actually finish ITM 5 out of 7.. So I'm getting my A game back in check

2/4FL with the occassional stab at 4/8 until I get to $1600. I wish Foxwoods had 3/6

Im a bit like you, stayed a pretty long time around 500$ getting alot of experience in the process then everything clicked for me(ok after reading 6 books and checking forum too).
Then I won 1k in a tourney and started doing really good in cash game too. Closing on 3k now. 50c/1$ is much easier then i though.

I've stalled around 1K, but I've been taking small stabs at bigger and different games every once in a while, so my variance is off a bit. That's the great thing about having money, the more you have, the easier it is to make more! :D

Good Job!
I'm very close to 1K as well, I'm at $979 and change. Goal was to break $1000 by the end of the year. One more finish ITM and I'll be there.
Ultimate goal is to hit $1500 and then start pulling out 1/2 of every sng win, so I'll still build my bankroll, but start enjoying some of the rewards. Is that crazy? Should I just keep building?
Any thoughts?
