Heads-up play, been gaining some chips and momentum at this point. Opponent is a decent player, a little bit on the weak side and somewhat passive.

hand 1 I reraise more then min, maybe to 2500. If he moves all in, then I fold. I have position and a lot of outs. I check the turn and bet the river if I hit or miss. If he comes out on any the turn or river, I likely fold too.
KK, with the 2 suited, I likely bet min in the flop, 2x min on the turn and 1/2 to 3/4 pot on the river.

Hand 1...nice try but smart move to let it go.
Hand 2: I hate slow plays like that. Too easy to get good hands cracked. He could have been on two pair or better. Best to play these types of hands for what they are worth. Pre-flop raise it up to 3xBB at the least. Post flop if I want to slow play then check and hope he bets out. If he does then check-raise. After the turn bet again at 1/2 to 2/3 pot. River...value bet here with a 3/4 pot bet.

i love slow playing KK or AA headsup...you have an overwhelming advantage, and since you are playing so many hands, it wont seem out of the ordinary to limp in...altho i agree w/ dave, i woulda prolly bet more after the flop

i should point out that when i was heads up and held poor holdings, for the most part i played them very passively and was folding to most raises preflop, postflop, etc.

He can't lose to two pair. Perfect spot to slowplay a big pair.

Why couldn't he lose to two pair? This was an unraised pot. Many players will limp into a pot with 89 or Q9. The most deadly hand in poker is the one that gets limped into a pot. You never know what it could be. You never know where you truely stand either.
What if villian came into a pot with 10J? He just made the straight and is looking to get paid off for it now. Never say he can't because can't is one of those words that can come back to bite you in the arse in a bad way sometimes.

I think he is suggesting he can't lose to two pair after the turn - Since there is a pair of 5's on the board.
I guess he could lose to two pair - 5's and 5's.

who likes results?
hand 1: ended up calling the min raise, hitting my 6 on the turn and getting it all-in there, beat his two pair 7s and 2s
hand 2: he called me with 86o ... didnt see that one coming

Nothing like breaking someone drawing to 4 outs you luckbox.

Hand 1 is what made hand 2 so profitable. I love this move in HU and do it as often as I can.
You get caught in a semi-bluff being aggressive. Then, when you actually get a real hand you get called all the way to SD.
So, did you win?
