...online
i used to be a losing live player for my first year of poker, i was actually down about a grand or more until i started to play online. i eventually broke even. lately i have been winning at my live weekly games, not much, but atleast i am winning and when i play online. it seemed to reversed on me where i cant win online anymore. is there anything i need to figure out? why can't i play online... should i look at my hand histories amd review? maybe i play poorely online.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Defiantly look at your hand history.
Playing online you play much more hands, and if there is a leek it will usually pop up its ugly face and take your money away.
playing live you play fewer hands so you might have gotten more lucky...

In my opinion, live games---especially home games are much easier. Every game I play in there are several people that have no idea what to do.
I still play in small home tournaments and end up having to explain to someone how the blinds work.
I know there are plenty of tough games out there. But, online players seem to have at least learned some of the basics.
