Here are a few tips to make the transition easier:
Your avatar MUST be a close-up of an eye, or a dog or a baby
If you suffer a bad beat you MUST berate your nemisis, and if possible, follow him from table to table to continue berating him. (obviously this works in reverse too.)
If you are all in preflop v. a shortstack - you WILL lose.
2 outers are coinflips.
KK v Ax is also a coinflip
AA is an slight underdog to KK
If you email support with anything other than glowing praise they WILL turn your "difficulty level" up to 11 (also known as the "killswitch")
There are a lot of aged granny's and young children playing on Stars, anything stronger than "nh sir" in the chat box WILL result in a chat ban.
Enjoy your time on Pokerstars :D

I love people who talk genuinely about the 'difficulty level', they really make it all worthwhile

First time I heard someone mention that I laughed so much, beer came out of my nose

that post was the first time i ever heard of that. it is quite funny.

a shift in difficulty level is simply the perception of the player when something horrible happens...like my sitting down at his table.

your right. Its all in the players head imo, me saying that my diff level got turned to 111 was me joking. really what happened, is i went on a shit hot run for about a month and it wad returning to normalcy

Anyone ever wonder why there are no famous Scottish comedians in the world?....
Posted Tue Oct 03, 2006 7:09 am GMT by wEbMaStEr
You mean other than Billy Connolly, Craig Ferguson, Mike Myers?
(ok I know Mike Myers is Canadian, but his Scottish routine is hilarious)

Craig Ferguson is not funny.

Exactly, didn't I say famous comedians Webby?... . Oh and you can't take Mike Myers...he is Canadian... .
Mark my words...give DC 10 years and a child and he will be one of those "Baby" avatar people... ...provided US players are still online at the poker sites.

Why do they waste time putting up weird/ugly avatars? Don't they realize that the people that are offended or just weirded out by them will just HIDE the damn thing with one simple click of the mouse?
