Excellent .
Wasn't it a little fishy of HIM to call an allin with 89s ? Unless you pushed him around a lot during HU.
Good stuff.

Thanks guys!
Basically, once we got down to about 4 players, he started making some horrible calls; like he'd raise preflop with like a K2 suited, someone would reraise all-in, and he was calling like he just didn't have a care in the world. When we got heads up, he had me covered in chips, but the very first heads up hand I raised all in preflop with J10o, he immediately called with pocket 8's, I spiked a J on the flop & doubled up. After that, it was either fold or all in preflop. No limping, no min raises, no outplaying me post-flop :D
So I did raise all in preflop a couple times, he probably was just tired of playing and figured he had 2 live cards, against me maybe holding 2 overs. When that king hit on the turn & I immediately knew he was drawing dead, I was ecstatic. I'm still somewhat in disbelief!

I've been asking that same damn question for 7 years now. I've not had a single MTT win in all that time
