A new gambling math book has been released: “Probability Guide to Gambling”. It is a practical guide and holds a large collection of probability results and probability-based strategies, along with all supporting math. It covers the major casino games: Slots, Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack, Draw Poker, Texas Hold’em Poker, Lottery and Sport Bets.
Each game’s section is very well organized and the reader may easily find the odds of all important events regarding his or she own play or opponents’ play, with respect to a specific gaming situation.
Unlike other books on this subject, the approach is not an exclusively statistical one, but analytical: every gaming event is taken as an individual applied probability problem to solve.
Finally, what makes this book original is the fact that it only uses compact math formulas for returning the numerical odds and not partial simulations run on the computer.
