Party playing along?

Posted Sat Oct 07, 2006 12:40 pm GMT by Pokerfarian
A year ago I sold my home, and moved into an apartment. I tried to change my address with Party, and they required that I fax them a utility bill that had my name and my new address.

I moved into my new home about a month ago. I figured I should use all my party points, so I grabbed my electric bill and tried to change my address again.

They took the change without any documentation to support that change--I just typed in the new address and they changed it.

Opens up some possibilities, doesn't it?

That's quite a stretch.

I already e-mailed Party's customer support and told them I was moving to Italy, asking what I needed to document my change of address (and country of residence). I'm waiting to see what they say, but it's been almost a week.

I'll let you know the results. As I have posted elsewhere, I used Vatican City as my country of residence when I signed on at Royal Vegas (actually it was when I changed my player name about 9 months ago). They didn't have a problem with it.
