Any PLOH at foxwoods?

Posted Sun Oct 08, 2006 11:25 pm GMT by mackkie
It usually takes foxwoods a good 3 days to respond to my emails, so i thought i would ask the question here first.

Does foxwoods offer PL Omaha? If so whats the min. buyin?

I know they offer limit omaha, but i like PL better.

My gut feeling on this is no because wouldnt it be kind of difficult to measure the size of the pot at all times and a re-raise, etc?

Let me know if u guys have some info! Thanks

This game isn't spread normally. But, if enough players ask for it, they will spread a table. Unfortunately, it is generally a large buy-in game since generally only heavyweights want to play it with any regularity. I have seen a $10/$20 blind game with $2k minimum/no max. buyin a few times on the weekends.

Skip the 1/2. Play the 2/5...more play at close to the same time charge ($6 per half hour versus $5 per half at 1/2).

What is the min buyin? I was told it was 300 and $500 max?

It is 300/500. But, you get far more play and it isn't an all-in contest with a ridiculous rake. Just play conservatively and wait for the 1 or 2 big hands. Most of the time, you will get called.

FINALLY! I haven't been down there too much in the last year, but last time I went it was a 5/5 game.

Man I would like to play those limits, but it just seems a little too high for me right now, Especially since i just booked a trip for my GF and I to goto florida when I am on winter break. Maybe my plan will be start at 1/2NL and if i do well and make $300+ ill head over to 2/5.

Also why is the 1/2NL max buyin 100x the small blind but 2/5 max buyin is 100x the big blind?
