Wierdest Thing Ever

I was just playing a $55 SNG on Stars and saw the strangest hand ever. Four people knocked out on the first hand. Shocked

UTG raises to 80
UTG +1 raises to 160
Button raises to $400
SB, BB, and the first two call.

Flop: 9 Club K Club A Club

After alot of bet/raise they're all allin.

Turn 4 Club

River 9 Diamond

SB shows A Heart A Spade
BB shows A Diamond K Diamond
UTG shows Q Club 10 Club (not sure why he saw the flop with all the raising)

UTG+1 shows 9 Spade 9 Heart

Button shows K Heart K Spade

You should have heard the screams. I don't think I've ever heard more times that the site was rigged. And I know a couple of them are going to be chat banned. Smile

All I could do was laugh, 5 handed on the second hand.

Can't believe the SB didn't re-raise or just push with his aces. Probably would have knocked out the two guys who beat him. Although the QT, who knows, seems like he was ready to donk it up on the first hand. $55? Really?

Just was on the receiving end of a similar, but not nearly as dramatic a hand. Nine players left in a SnG (second rung in a qualification ladder series). I've got about 500 more than the average chip stack and UTG player has a bit more than me.

I'm in the cutoff with KK. UTG limps in, I raise to 400, short stack on the button goes all in. UTG calls and I raise 500 over the short stack call to try to get him out of the pot. UTG goes all in--uh, oh. I call.

Short stack had AK, UTG has AA, and I have KK. Bad news but not hopeless. Flop comes A-K-x. Unbelievable. I get the one outer that can save me as UTG gets the one outer that can beat me. All four aces and all four kings are in play, all three players get about the best flop they could hope for and two of us are drawing dead.

Not moaning or groaning. Just posting an interesting situation.

BTW: I am very to NL and am only playing tournaments using up freeroll points I've accumulated playing limit. I'd be interested in comments on how I played the hand. In my defense, I was pretty sure that UTG had a monster when he went all in but not before--he played the aces really well. And by then I think I was pretty well pot committed and it was a freeroll.
