I cashed out yesterday but I logged in today to see what's up. Thisis what i got.
The President of the United States has signed legislation that now causes PartyGaming to have to cease taking wagers from U.S. customers. We will also suspend accepting deposits from U.S. customers and examine potential offerings to U.S. customers that would be within the new law. This will not affect the Play For Free games and your Account will remain accessible.
Non-US players and all Play for Free games will not be affected.
Looks like they might reopen poker to the U.S. if they find out the law does not apply to poker.
I noticed that they are going to now offer micro limits, probably to attract people from poor countries.
they are not showing how many players are online.

Well, I dont know about you guys, but I really miss PP. I cashed out a nice roll from there yesterday and I have been trying to find somewhere else to play. I hate every interface I have tried so far (Stars, FT, and Mansion). Only cool thing about Stars is the way you can make the window bigger. Other than that I find it hard to follow the action and all the buttons are in the wrong place. I guess it just takes getting used to.
The worst part is the bonus structure however. PP had great reload bonuses that you could actually earn. Stars, FT and Mansions are a joke. You dont even get credit for a hand unless a buck is raked from the pot. Makes it nearly impossible to earn any points at lower stakes.
I was excited about the "generous" $600 and $1000 100% match bonuses at FT and Mansion (respectively) but they dont seem doable unless I play at higher limits that will generate the pots, and therefore points needed to get the bonus. Might be doable for those 2 sites...but Stars little $50 sign on bonus? Forget it. I played two table .10/.25 for two hours last night, plus a $5 SNG (which are all playing above the bank roll BTW, but thats as low as I am willing to play) and generated all of 12 FPPs. And you need 500 to get the bonus. Silly.
So I miss the land of milk and honey and fish and easy bonuses.
