Hello everyone,
As you will be able to see this is my first post on your forum.
After watching TV poker for 4 or 5 years I've been playing online for about a year now on five or 10 player STT's and thought I wasn't doing too bad for a beginner.
Using Ladbrokes site I first put in £20 to my account and have never added to it, even taking about £50 out to pay for football bets and horse bets.
I thought that I was doing okay, playing pretty tight and even starting to bluff now and then with varying results.
About a week ago I went on a good run winning 7 five player STT's on the bounce, I don't think I've changed my game much but since then I have been knocked out before heads up in every game in the last week,(about 25 games).
Can anyone give a bit of sound advice to where I've gone wrong?.......I've never went more than 5 games without finishing top two, should I be moving onto the MTT's?
I'm so frustrated at the minute, any help would be gratefully received.

You went on a good streak for a while and then it burned out and your on a long bad run. This means either you're just hitting a very bad streak or your game isn't as good as you first thought it was because you may have been on a lucky streak. Study strategy, play lots of hands and practice. It might take a long time before you can start consistantly making money. It took me years and It's still slow going.

If you dig alittle deeper on SNG stats and variance youll find you cant find out your actual stats until well over 1000 tourneys.
