I come home, log on to FullTilt, play a few hands. My goal in the next year is to make $10K out of $50. I'm following strict guidelines about my bankroll, PokerTracker, etc. I'm now up to $185, not bad for a couple of weeks. But that's not the point...

So I sit to my computer, my friend MSN me saying that he got $25 from PP. I log on to see they're giving me $15 for 150 hands. Ok whatever... but I notice that the Monster tournaments are gone! WTH?! I had a monthly freeroll that I was planning to use in two weeks. I check their website, on my account, and see that they're offering me $350 for my freeroll!!!! Do you accept?? DAMN RIGHT!!

So, I'll withdraw all of it, re-deposit on FullTilt for a 50% reload bonus. $350+$175=$525. Thank you PartyPoker!!

Nice head start for my goal!!

Yeah, and FullTilt picked up on that by offering 50% reload, something they rarely do, if ever.

In fact, the Monster Jackpot (which was at $14M) was the players' money. So they've just splitted the money toward those who had won qualifiers.

I do agree. It doesn't look too bright for PartyPoker. I guess that FullTilt is the next PartyPoker.

Congrarts!
As much as party seems to suck, they are the only ones who keeps giving money to their players. Damn, I keep missing that, as I don't have a money account there.

Party just released a mac version. A company that is abut to bust up wont invest in new software development.

Also, Fulltilt is one of the least friendly place for beginners. No Micro levels, horrible blinds in S&G's , especially the lowest levels etc and one of the hardest to clear bonuses online. Of course, has a beginner you do not realize all the stuff - you need to know a little about poker to understand they making it hard on you.

All that being said, I also redeposited to take advantage on the reload bonus. Apparently , they are offering this once every few month. Deposited only $100 had I'm afraid of not clearing the bonus - though on my first two days managed to clear 10% - so there is a chance yet!

Yeah, $175 will be a bitch to clear, but I do have 4 months.

Oh... 2 months then.

When I deposited the first time, I was able to clear 10% like every 2 days.

Have fun with my money. The monster thing that is.

Nice that they offer you $350 when the equity value of one Monster seat was $600. Great deal...

???

I played a 10+1 SnG to qualify, 1st place gave me $25+Weekly Qualifier.

In the weekly qualifier, we were 4600 players and I only had to finish 2000th to get a Monthly Qualifier. I finished 63rd, so I got $110+Monthly Qualifier.

They paid me $350 for that qualifier.

My 1st place in that 10+1 netted me a total of $485. I did spend about $50 for qualifiers though...

EDIT: Unless you're talking about the Finals. I never had a chance to qualify. They were paying $1800 for Finals Qualifier. They also paid $100 for Weekly Qualifiers. I think it's indeed a pretty good deal.

HA!!

Yeah, $1800 is not so bad in itself. However, they considered the that they would have 8000 entrants, which is correct, but, at the time they paid $1800, they only had 1000 who qualified.

Therefore, they should've divided the $14M into 1000 players, but no. Instead, they've divided into 8000 players, but only paid 1000. So, they've spent $1.8M, and kept the extra $12.2M.

Bunch of thieves. Glad I took the money and run.

I got 100ish for my weekly.

Most people won't realize they're losing their tickets, and won't get reimbursed. Not to mention the fact those horrible payout tourneys were just cashholes for most people - as usual, the big business wins. With these kinds of standards, their huge stock price drop and the lack of U.S. players, now would be a good time to sell your party stock and switch to a diff site. They probably won't last very long.
