The Ongame Network, owned by bwin, has announced that it will blockservice to players with U.S. addresses. Full Contact Poker, however, iscommitted to providing its poker services to all of its existingplayers and to any new customers in the U.S. or around the world.
As a result of Ongame’s announcement, Full Contact Poker is partneringwith a new poker network provider that shares its desire of offeringpoker software to legally aged players in the U.S. In the unlikelyevent that your service is interrupted during this transition time, contact our 24/7 player support team. We promise to keep our playersinformed of any new developments and appreciate your continued support.

Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

PokerRoom just put up an official statement on their web site. They are, in fact, closing out US players pending technical implementation of the ban. They guarantee that funds are safe and may be cashed out. There was no indication as to how much notice we would have. (I did send that question to Support.) Player points will be archived against the possible future lifting of the ban. Bonuses in progress will be lost. Tickets will be lost.

Ditto. See you there!
I just cashed out the remaining money I had in there, but still have the player points burning a hole in my virtual pocket.

Used almost all of my player points to buy into the most expensive SnG I could last night expectiting to go down in flames. Ended up coming in second (when both of us went all in, me with ATs and villain with A7o--villain flopped 77x and made 4th 7 on the river), taking home $40 and another tournament ticket to an even higher level tournament. I'm in a panic to get these things played off before the final shutdown.

They should have banned poker months ago---I'm having the best week ever!!! Used the last of my player points this morning in a SnG and won it!!! $20 free bucks and another ticket. Another $120 in $1/$2 ring games this weekend.
At least they'll throw me out happy.
