At what point do I slow down here?

LIMIT hand

I am not getting away from this hand in Limit, but when do I start to just call down with this hand.
Is raising the river a bad idea at this point?
I have seen much worse hands shown down for more money in $1/2 limit at stars.

Only read on VILLAIN so far was a few hands ago he called down a preflop raiser and another caller to the river with middle pair even when an ace flopped up.

All comments welcome for all streets.

Not much you can do when it's set over set, although I probably would have lost more by capping pre-flop and raising the flop, which I think is still a slightly better play.

Overall, though, you played it fine.

Where is the post by URAteUp telling you to raise more preflop? He always thinks it's NL...

haha, yeah the bold and underline were very intentional.

So say I dont wait until the turn to raise and the flop gets capped. Do I cap the turn as well?

10 time out of 9 yes.
on the flop and turn only one hand beats you (the one he happened to have)
AK,AQ or a smaller set will play it the same and the are almost drawing dead against you.

The only place I would have considered slowing down is the river, but I'm not a big FL guy and I probably still end up reraising most of the time.

No way can we put him on AA here IMO, especially with what he's shown before.

MJJ...buddy...bite me... Laughing. I saw this was limit even before I read the hand history and your comment... Laughing .

This hand is one of those hands your destined to go broke on. Be it FL or NL this is a money sucker and I really see no way for you to get away from it.
