Ok, recently re-deposited $100 into Fulltilt and decided to come with few goals.
1. Clear my bonus in 60 days without losing my BR.
To do this I intend to :
A.Multi table 10NL and 25NL. buyin for half the low levels and min the high one.
or B. Multi table NL and Stud .25/.50
Comments?
2. Double my BR within the 60 days.
To do this I intend to improve my NL game. When ever a bonus is released I'm going to use it in an $5 S&G.
though the one $5 S&G I played on FT was so tight, by level 7 we were still 7 in the game all pretty even. Guess I need to loosen up a bit if that happens again and start stealing more pots.
3. Improve my MTT game.
I only played big Freerolls or the $1 MTT (which is close to freerolls) so I plan to take my S&G profit into higher MTT. Not many, 1 or 2 a month.
Any advice or comments are welcome.

I'm waiting until I move from 25NL to 50NL before trying Fulltilt. The bonus should be much easier at 50NL.
Best of luck.

NO!!
You only need 1667 FTP to clear your bonus. It's easily done within 2 months. So far, since Oct. 4th, I earned over 700 FTP, and I'm not playing that much.
Don't burn yourself playing higher limits than you should. Stay at NL10 and play $5 SnG only until you have a bit more cash.

I can only play an hour - hour and a half a day. So 10NL is a little too small for that.
First day I played 25NL bought in for 5 and 10NL where I bought in for 5 as well.
Busted twice out of the 10NL quickly and made enough to cover for it in the 25NL - in the stud I also manage to make some...
Second day pretty much the same, though I only played 1 25NL and 1 Stud.
3rd day I lost everything I made in the first 2 days .... Most was my fault.
Got my first poker book in the mail 2 days ago and I feel like a better player just holding it - Super System
Going to sit in a couple of tables now and see what happens.

Yeah but we don't play NL1000 everyday like you, TR.
Seriously though, how do you make so many FTP?? I want that hockey jersey...

That's ok. NL25 is not hard to beat anyway

Hi cayouche-
I haven't played 1k NL for a while. I switched to Omaha hi/lo fixed limit. Just about every hand gets raked because people never fold! I play at the higher limits, but the rake on the pot is just $3.
The jerseys are cool... I have the football jersey.
The Poker chips are also cool - See this thread :

Well I understand now. Yeah, at O8, no one folds... lol!! and at 3 points a hand, it goes pretty fast.
I'll get there someday, now I play NL25 and NL50.
Thanks for the tip.

despite the fact that you're from canada (which is obviously awesome), I must say that you're good at mtt. I just felt like letting you know. You were awesome in the freeroll a while back - don't stress out. You'll be higher stakes at cash, i promise.

Coming from a player like you, it certainly is appreciated!!

update
Been reading Super system 1, just got to NL Holdem section. But just reading the book made me a better player - or at least a more aggressive one.
I can now sit down, and start stealing pot after pot after pot of small wins. And am even capable laying down some big hands (sometimes it is the wrong thing to do)
however, also had the times when sat with calling station and still couldn't stop making a move on them. And a couple of times pushed where one can not be pushed. So in general, even though I have few winning session, overall I still lose money.
All my fault of course.
So I'm still struggling with Goal 1.
Am doubtful about goal 2
And since I'm not in profit, haven't really follow on goal 3 and barely played any S&G's...
If I lose all my BR now, I'm seriously going to need to decide if I'm willing to invest more on this poker ambition.. At the moment money is not a problem, as I'm working like a dog (over 10 hours a day , almost every day) That could also be why I make mistakes. I come home after a long day. And play a couple of hours late at night. Probably not the best of timing for a struggling player.
