Over the past few days ive found myself getting way more FPP's then usual. I play $10NL so a pot with a $1 rake doesnt come round very often. Tonight i played a small session (~200 hands) and i find myself up 12FPP's but when i check my HH ive only played in 3 pots with a $1 rake or more. Im not complaining but have Pokerstars changed their FPP policy to allow for partials or something?
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I just checked their website, and it dosn't look like the policy changed, but I, too, noticed yesterday in my session I made more FPPs than I played in hands where the rake reached $1.

Agreed. I made 28 FPP's on just 200 hands of 25NL

Man I made a bunch of FPPs tonght I wouldn't have earned before. If I knew about this change, I would have deposited a hell of a lot more for their last reload bonus

Looks like you get an FPP now if the pot reaches $10 instead of $20.
BTW, maybe most people already know this, but I just discovered on any Stars table you can right click on any seat (occupied or not) and click 'sit here', and your view of the table will be rotated so that you are sitting in that seat. Handy if you are multi-tabling and want to be in the bottom center seat of each table. However, if you're running Gametime+ with Poker Tracker on cash tables, it doesn't recognize the rotation.
Sorry if this is old news.

Here is the change:
1. Earn FPPs for cash game play
First Frequent Player Point (FPP) is awarded for playing a hand in which the rake reaches:
* $0.40 for fixed limit poker games with stakes $1/$2 and lower
* $0.40 for NL/PL poker games with blinds $1/$2 and lower
* $1.00 for all other games
Second FPP is awarded for playing a hand in which the rake reaches:
* $2.00 for all 6-max tables (this doesn't apply for games being played 6- handed at 10/9/8 player tables - just 6-max tables)
* $3.00 for all other tables
Third FPP is awarded for playing a hand in which the rake reaches $5.00.
Is a great change because it makes it much easier to earn them at low stakes.

This is a great change. Got myself a hat in 3 days. I actually have a shot at Silver this month if I put in some major hours this weekend.

I made 'silverstar' status (LOL, only meaning I'm a degenerate), in only 2 days, playing SNG's & HU SNG's. I went on a good run playing mostly the $109 9 Player SNG's, and also the $105-$230 Heads Up SNG's. I got me one of the jackets, and a tan hat coming, so now I can show everyone what a degenerate I really am.
When I hit silver status, a pop-up came up saying so, also saying I now earn 1.5x points than before.
Unfortunately for them, I just cashed out all my winnings, & I'm taking a free jacket and hat as souveneirs as well. :D
