Not to sound like a prick, but heading into the river he had 4 outs, not 1.
Still, absolutely terrible horrible call....

How so? You can't beat Aces full with a regular straight so surely his only out was the he hit?

If Salche hadn't caught the Ace, the other guy could have hit a 7 or 8 for a full house that beat 3's full. However, once he hit the Ace, the 9c was the only out left. Pretty sure that's what Jefe meant.

no worries i realized that ... just sucked to hit the perfect river card (4th 3 was dead) and lose anyway
