Difference between 1/2 and 2/4 Limit on Absolute |

So after getting a few thousand hands @ 1/2 limit I feel pretty comfortable with my game. For some reason, I have been temped to step it up to 2/4 even though my 'bankroll' can't really handle it at the moment. I use quotation marks because that is just what I have online and not all that I'm willing to play for. For those of you who have made the move up on Absolute, did you find any real difference in play? What is the best way to try it?
My plan was to just mix in a 2/4 table every now and again while I am multi tabling at the 1/2 and try not to play a much different game and see how it goes. The other option would be just to sit down at one 2/4 table with what I would normally sit down at two 1/2 tables or simply just stick at 1/2 since I have had a decent amount of success there. Any suggestions?

From my experience, 2/4 is generally much looser, when you can find a game running. Availability seems to be somewhat hit or miss. I preferred 2/4 when I could find it. I rarely if ever multitabled, so I can't give any advice on a recommended mix.

Ditto. I've almost always found $2/$4 to be more profitable than either $1/$2 or $3/$6, both in terms of win rate and overall cash.

I gave it the old college try yesterday and sat down with $85 and lost a few hands down to about $20. Hit a K22 flop with pocket K's vs. pocket Aces to get on a roll. I picked my spots and hit some more great flops and ran it up to $180. Didn't want to take any chances with my profits and played a couple of freerolls. I know I can't keep my 9.19PTBB/100 winrate up, but it felt nice to be able to get in there and not be totally outclassed.
