AA, KK or AQ would be my first guesses but I could put him on several other hands the way I am used to playing these limits. I often call a 5xBB raise if I am holding a small pp. I won't raise with it but I will call with it.

I have seen players with AK play this same way as well not thinking someone could possible have them beat.

Well your interpretation was exactly the same as mine...

Anyone else?

Big re raise here...looks like he wants to shut you out the pot. Maybe a medium pocket pair in the hole.

TPTK I would bet the pot on the flop and will fold to the raise without a read fearing a set. However this might be an excellent money maker, make a note on the guy, don't ever tell him what you fold and take his money next time.

Really? It's not a dangerous board at all, Sets would try for some value here surely, I can fold good hands but with that flop and no re raise pre flop to tell me AA,KK. Then I may go all the way with it tbh.

Rainbow with no straight possibility, I am loving this flop. I think you played it too weakly in my opinion.

I'm not sure most players in micro levels are sophisticated enough to bet for value. Guess I might be wrong. My BR surely suggest I'm wrong often enough.

Personally, if he did limp with AA or KK chances are I am paying him off here. I think his push was a sure sign he wanted me out of this hand too badly and I would have called or re-raised.

This guy is the kind of person I look for on a table...Super LAG. Hang onto good hands and push when you know you have the best hand. What made it tough for you to make the call was he was first to act and he was being very aggressive. Don't let aggression scare you out of a pot unless your sure your beat. You had position and should have raised this guy to get a better feel of where you stood in this hand.

Yeah, agree.

But on a slight variation to Mr darling, i would make a note on this player, to suggest he'll happily call a 4BB raise with Q6. If he's willing to call with this, he'll call with plenty of other crap. therefore you maybe able to re-raise him pre-flop in the future.

I bring this topic back to light since recently I lost a lot of money in low levels calling over bets.

Its either hands where I lead pre big (5XBB) flop comes all small and unscarry, I lead, villain push I call and he shows T7o for 2 pairs.
or hands where I limp with QT, villain min raise, I call. Flop comes xTx, I lead he push and I call to see A's.

Sure, a lot of the times they will over bet with 2ndPTK, or PP lower then TP etc, but it just damn too hard to know when they push with crap and when they push with the nuts. Low level player don't make much sense, and that is their strength against me Sad
