Why do i react the way i do?

This is something that is really getting on my wick at the mo.

I've been playing poker for around 5yrs and I've been playing about 10hrs per week online for about 4years. Due to time straints, I only play 10 seater cash games and 10 seater single table Sng's.

However, I'm going through a phase at the mo of playing my usual cash game. Sometimes i win, somethimes i don't, but either way, I then deveate from my game plan and play heads-up, or 6seaters cash games, or multi table tornys (which i rarely have time to finish).

Now, I class "going on tilt" as; playing differently to your usual play, because of losing a few hands.

Therefore, I don't consider myself as "going on tilt" as I still play pretty solid. Once again, sometimes i win, but more often i lose. I then finish on a low and upset with my discipline.

Do any of you guys go through a phase simular to me? (or do you vary your game plan for no apparent reason, then wonder why you lose?) Do you class this as "going on tilt"? How do you deal with it?

I'm i a real rut. This has happened to me probably 8 times in 4 years. However 4 of those times have been in the last two months.

I'm worried and scared, as my bankroll is falling, I've lowered the limits i play at as a precation, but despritely need to refocus and get back to winning ways.

Help!

LOL. This sounds like a description of someone's marriage. Bored with the spouse, stepping out with the trollops. You know you shouldn't, you don't really know why you do, but it seems like a good idea at the time.

I don't have any advice to offer but couldn't help but comment on the pattern. Maybe a good marriage counselor might be able to tell you what is missing in your relationship.
