After minutes of painstaking analysis supplemented by my usual research tools in various flavors and proofs I have reached the conclusion that Cheezewhiz is not a real forum member but is, in fact, a Forum-Bot. It was only a matter of time before this Bot technology was turned to this purpose. Just as a poker-bot can be programmed to follow a set of rules to generate actions it is clear that Cheezy's consistent obnoxious harping on the same theme is the result of some not-very-sophisticated programming to achieve similar results.
I say that the programming is not very sophisticated because the result is always the same. It is as if a poker bot was programmed to raise under all circumstances and that is all that it ever did, without considering the cards and other information in play.
However the Cheeze-Bot is not as unsophisticated in purpose as it is in implementation. Some of you may remember that I teach electronic commerce system development at a large university and I know whereof I speak. The Cheeze-Bot is clearly designed to generate traffic on the site and therefore repeated exposure to the site sponsors' advertising methods. The Cheeze-Bot therefore doesn't have to generate any actual reasoned content, just controversy and repeated hits on the site. I suspect that Geno may be behind this scheme.
I believe that I recognize the pattern of the Cheeze-Bot's content. Many of you may have heard of the Turing Test, a test where a human user communicates with a computer through a terminal. If the human user is unable to tell that the computer is not a human responding to the conversation then the computer is said to have achieved true artificial intelligence.
I believe that the Cheeze-Bot technology is derived from one of the recent contenders in the Neuman Test (as in Alfred E. Neuman). In this test the user attempts to determine if they are communicating with a computer or a raving lunatic.
Remember, all, I am a trained research professional and you should not attempt to perform analysis such as this at home. Go to a bar instead.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I'm not questioning whether CW is a bot or not I'm just wondering about a few things:
1) How much does it cost to create a program elaborate enough to be indistingushable (sp*) from a human?
2) How much revenue can such a bot create?
I don't know much about the subject, but it seems the answer to #2 would be far less than the answer to #1.

Now you're talking like a Business Information Systems person instead of a Computer Scientist. People do this for the glory of it all and for what they might learn along the way. Not sure how much money IBM spent on Big Blue, their expert system chess playing supercomputer. It was a lot. I don't think they sold too many copies of the software, though .
In theory, if a computer science researcher wins the Turing Prize thousands of eager students will wish to spend much more in tuition money to study French Literature on the same campus as this noted scholar and trustees and legislatures are more eager to appropriate increased funding for the university president's office furniture. Of course having a winning football team is an even bigger draw.

I reckon I could build a fairly convincing cheezewiz bot, I'd just start with a tinfoil hat and work my way down
