10-10 SB, in a tournament , button raises , hes not too creative, doesnt get out line much but in position like this could have far weaker like small pp, Ax, K10 etc.

I opt to call and hope I can get some value post flop. Flop comes 8 9 3 rainbow. I check, sadly he checks behind me. Turn 6, I lead for $2,000 into a pot of about $6,000. He calls river, 5...I check, he bets $5,500 and I call.......Dissect,Analyize,Criticize people. Go!

I think you need to fold the river. 1 card can beat ur hand and 77 is a likely holding.

I also think you should lead the flop and hope he raises so you can come over the top and get a little value from ur hand.

Otherwise, perfectly played. I assume he turned over a 7 and you vomited on your PC. Razz
