Anyone read the book "Dirty Poker"? The author claims to be a cheating expert. He basically claims that everything you've ever heard about poker cheating is true, including online "action" dealing and the legendary "Peeker" program (where you can see everyone's cards), as well as less dramatic stuff like chip dumping among name players at major tournaments.
Of course he doesn't document anything LOL. I'm not saying I believe anything more than I was already aware of, for instance collusion. Just wondering if anyone else had read it and what they thought of it.
I would I guess give it a limited recommendation to players who don't play live much but are interested in that, live collusion is pretty thoroughly covered. And anyone else who is just interested in the topic. If you can find it at your local library like I did LOL, I don't feel the need to own it. I think it would make certain people's heads explode though LOL, if you get worked up over the occasional ONLINE IZ RIGGEDEDD!!! post save yourself the aggravation.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com
