I have pocket aces, raise preflop, one guy calls. Flop comes 88A. Flop aces full. He checks, I check. Turn is a K, he bets the pot, i smooth call. (bad idea) River is an 8, he goes all in. I'm sitting there and contemplating of folding because I just know he hit the 8 for quads. It's online, obviously he hit the 8. But maybe he has a A or K, so I type "quads are good" and call because I'm not folding that online for small stakes real money. He had K8.
(I believe if I played the hand more agressively he would still have called. He flopped 3 8's and turned a full boat, he's not going anywhere no matter how hard i bet)

Yeah that sucks when that happens. Flopping the nut full house and losing to quads - the chance of hitting the case 8 is what? 2%? Rediculous!
However, to be hypocritical, it does feel good when you get quads, especially in Texas Holdem!
