Is this the right move in this situation? My reasoning being he'll probably call with AT~ and if hes got a draw im making him pay dearly to see a river. Also if i make a normal value bet say $3.50 ill most likely be putting the rest in on the river anyway.

well, you're not really betting 6.1, you're betting 4.70.
So yes, if hes gonna call 3.50 hes commited to the pot, so he'll call 4.70 too.
Looks like a pretty standard play, nice goin.
