At what point should I have folded here? I wanted a cheap showdown... But this guy wouldnt let me... Im just curious... Where did I go wrong? On the turn I thought he had two pairs or something, or maybe AK, still not sure. On the end i was pritty sure I was beat, but i couldnt make myself fold. I know I show weakness all the way... But I just never put him on an AA.... It wasnt that I coulnt lay down TP, its just that I never thought he made something good... But thinking over it id see villian doing some solid playing on the table, building himself from 900 chips to where he was on this table. When should I have laid it down? On the turn or? His preflop raise made me thing that AK would be a likely holding. But I just couldnt bring myself to think that. After more reasoning i knew he couldnt have two pairs, as he wouldnt have raised with K3 or KJ....

If you thought your hand was best, you should have pushed all-in on the turn. Otherwise, you should have folded on the turn.
The real question you should have asked yourself was, "what, other than a total bluff, could I possibly be beating here?"

Personally, I fold this preflop. This is a trap hand out of position that you can't play profitably unless you flop two pair. Add to this that this is a tournament where you need to conserve trips and I dump this routinely in the BB to a raise.

So this is down to bad handselection? Or i should have folded on the turn?
I always thought that KQ was an decent hand? its only AK and AQ that can beat it kicker wise if it pairs...

KQ is a good hand, but it must be handled with some care as AA,KK,AK and AQ can get it into trouble if you overplay it + it faces the same dangers as these hands do when played. At the same time it is a hand with relatively good implied odds...if it hits hard other powerful hands often make good 2nd best hands. It can get you into troubles if overplayed, but I will also claim it is a hand that is routinely underplayed.
On the board in this hand, the jack is trouble since you don't beat king jack. Which means AA, KK (even though unlikely),AK,KJ, and other plausible early position hands (from an unknown atleast...some players are tighter, some are looser) beats you rather easily. At the same time...what hands would he bet that you beat?
I'm not saying fold, I'm saying look at the hand, the board and your opponent and count the hands you beat. Could be many...could be next to none.
