my brother keeps telling me i should play some Fixed Limit hold' em.. and i actually agree with him. i played strictly limit ($0.05/0.10) on party poker when i had some money on there and i did pretty well overall. i sat down with 7 bucks and usually left with somewhere from $10-20. sometimes down of course but that was usually the case.....
i now have $1350 in my bankroll at doyles room and i am interested in playing some FL again and am wondering what are desirable stakes for me to play? any advice and insight as to which stakes i should play with this amount of money i have would be helpful and greatly appreciated.
also some info on what the seperate stakes are like respectively, in agression, looseness, passiveness, donkery, profitability etc. and the one i should play based on those factors plus my BR size and i will squeeze my personal preference in with them and it might make a good decison

1/2 and then 2/4 once you get comfortable.
Or you can say screw it and just play 5/10. Thats what I did and its working out alright so far.

250-300 BB.
BB in this context in FL means "big bets" not "big blinds". So for $1/$2 FL, you'd want to have $500-$600 in your roll.

started playing some 2/4 today (BR is 1700, not 1350 anymore).. i really like it
lotsa action, lotsa retarded moves... lotsa profitablity in my eyes
one hand i even got a straight flush, had 7-8 of spades in a raised pot, flop was 8c-6s-9s. turn was 4s... river 10s, got capped on the river with the guy holding the As
im really liking this so far.. its faster then NL it seems... bigger average pots.
