PokerStars S&G blinds structure

Posted Tue Nov 07, 2006 3:58 am GMT by MrDarling
We're having a small discussion about FullTilt horrible blinds structure over at the fulltilt forum.

Can someone please post PokerStars normal S&G blinds structure.

I couldn't find it any where on their site.

Thanks

Danny

Click on the SNG you're interested in, then click the "Tournament Info" box

For the non-turbo SNG 1 table SNG's, the structure is as follows.

25/50
50/100
75/150
100/200
100/200 25A
200/400 25A
300/600 50A
400/800 50A
600/1200 75A
1000/2000 100A
1500/3000 150A
2000/4000 200A
3000/6000 300A
4000/8000 400A
6000/12000 600A
10000/20000 1000A
15000/30000 1500A

The blind structures are the same for all SNGs and tourneys except for special tourneys. The level duration is 10 minutes for all SNGs except the 180-person SNG. PS has 9, 18, 27, and 45 player SNGs (no 90). The level duration for all MTTs and the 180-player SNGs is 15 minutes.

I was going to deposit at Full Tilt after the legislation, but I read they have 6 minute SNG levels and 10 minute MTT levels, and I said funk dat.

yeah, fulltilt blinds structure sucks :
6 minute levels

Level Small Blind Big Blind
1 15 30
2 20 40
3 25 50
4 30 60
5 40 80
6 50 100
7 60 120
8 80 160
9 100 200
10 120 240
11 150 300
12 200 400
13 250 500
14 300 600
15 400 800
16 500 1000
17 600 1200
18 800 1600
19 1000 2000
20 1200 2400
21 1500 3000
22 2000 4000
23 2500 5000
24 3000 6000
25 4000 8000
26 5000 10000
27 6000 12000
28 8000 16000
29 10000 20000
30 12000 24000
31 15000 30000
32 20000 40000

they now have Deep stack 90 people S&G...
I'm planing to make enough money in ring games so I can buy a new mac that will allow me to work windows and pokerstars.

Hmm, looking at the structure side by side, FT's levels are shorter but the blinds don't go up as fast. Both structures start the 50/100 level after 30 minutes of play. FT starts the 100/200 level after 48 minutes of play, Stars after 50. I don't know how Stars' antes would fit in that equation. Of course, this is only more equal than I thought if FT's starting stack is the same. Do you start with 1500 chips? How about for MTT's?

They actually have $50 90 player SnGs.

Starting stack : 1500 DS : 3000

The real problem is that the S&G are real tight (at least the low levels) and often get to level 13 with still at least 3 players. Which totally take poker skills out of the game.

MTT's are 10 min long :
No Limit
Level Small Blind Big Blind Ante
