Sorry again about all the hands I am posting lately. I usually don't post too many hands but all the hands I post, it seems that I am playing them wrong. So I think I should post more hands to see if I can correct the problem.

anyway, here is the hand. $100NL. 6max. I have never played with villain before.

Do you like how I played it? Thanks in advance.

You seem to like to overbet A LOT.

If it works, wouldn't it be optimal to do it? Getting all the money in the middle is the goal and this certainly does that (if they call). Is it more of a concern that they are not going to call enough to make it as profitable as an alternative? Anyway, you don't like the overbet? What would alternative line would you recommend?

Call the turn and get it in on the river.

Yeah, I guess that could work. If you knew they would call the overbet would that be a better line? What if you were pretty sure he had AQ?

You're only hoping he has AQ. You just said you never played against Villain, so how do you know what he plays after only one hand??

I wouldn't have pushed there. Maybe like a min raise or something. Then on the river, I push, unless it's A or Q.

Why would you believe him to have AQ as opposed to AK or AJ? He has two pair on the flop anyway, so the Q doesn't help him *that* much unless you had AK.

I think you're giving him an easy out here with your turn bet. He may not believe you have a 9, but he won't be correct enough of the time to call a bet that big.

I forgot that the turn was a Q. He could easily have AK or AJ.
